Overnight Oats
Getting a nourishing breakfast really helps start the day off right, but it's not always easy to get it all done in the morning! An easy, low-stress solution is to do it ahead of time, so all you have to do is grab and go!. This is my go-to and is so easy to prep. I add nut butter for protein and berries but you can really do whatever you like.
- 1/2 cup GF old fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup unsweetened plain nut or oat milk (any dairy sub you like)
- 1 T chia seeds
- 1 T maple syrup (or sub stevia or coconut sugar)
- 2 T unsweetened coconut yogurt (or full fat greek)
- 2 T natural nut or sun butter
- Add milk, chia, nut butter, and maple syrup to a jar and stir.
- Add oats, stir and press down to immerse.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, open and enjoy as is or garnish with any toppings. Berries, bananas, granola, additional chia or flax seeds are all great.
Hope you enjoy!
